Carly Pearce Snaps Back To ‘Devil’ Comments on X
Carly Pearce was reading the comments on a recent post she made on X about her fun week performing on the big stage at CMA Fest last week and did not like what she read at all.
Carly posted on June 10 after she performed at CMA Fest in Nashville with some photos from the event. She wrote, “CMA Fest, you were magical. It’s still so surreal to me that I get to be a part of it the way that I do. Over 25 years of country music dreams lived out on the stage last night.”
For some reason, fans started commenting on the parking space she had at the festival, which they thought was 666, and made comments about her worshiping the devil.
She wasn’t having any of that and forwarded the post, adding her own thoughts on the matter. She wrote, “I’ve seen too many comments about this being some sort of ‘hint towards 666 or satan to not comment. First of all, this was the parking spot for my tour bus at CMA Fest & I believe it is 668.”
Pearce continued, “I am a devout Christian who takes PRIDE in using my platform to point people towards JESUS. So, for anyone wondering… there are absolutely ZERO underlying messages except a girl excited to be playing the big stage (prayer hands emoji).”

Last month, ahead of her June 7th hummingbird album release, the country star released a song called “fault line.” She wrote the new song with big Nashville songwriters Nicolle Galyon, Shane McAnally, and Jordan Reynolds.
Carly said of the tune, “Some of my favorite songs were in the era of Tammy Wynette and George Jones, ‘fault line’ is my take on writing one of those classic, ‘I’m gonna rip your head off’ country songs. The playful angst in this song makes it one of my favorite moments on the record.”
Pearce also released the song’s accompanying video.
hummingbird is now out, and marks her debut as a co-producer. The 14-track collection features her GRAMMY-nominated single, “we don’t fight anymore,” featuring Chris Stapleton.
