Brands of Pet Food Recalled Over Massive Salmonella Concerns
A massive pet food recall has been declared due to possible salmonella contamination.
The recall applies to Midwestern Pet Foods. The company has recalled a variety of cat and dog food brands, including CanineX, Earthborn Holistic, Meridian, Pro Pac, Pro Pac Ultimates, Sportmix, Sportmix Wholesomes, Sportstrail, Unrefined, and Venture. All affected lots will have a lot number containing the letter ‘M’. The lot code information is printed on the back of the bag and looks like this: “EXP AUG/02/22/M1/L# to be exact.
