"This album took over five years," Beyoncé said in a press release. "It’s been really great to have the time and the grace to be able to take my time with it. "She literally took the genre, did it how they used to do it, did it how they're doing it now, and then did it how she wanted to do it. Now THAT'S how you do it," another fan wrote of the backlash Beyoncé has gotten after pursuing the genre. "That Beyonce & Post Malone song?? Wow this is enjoyment," a fan said of "Levii's Jeans." "Did I just finish that album… or did that album just finish me?" a fan joked.  Cowboy Carter Tracklist Prior to the release of Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé  released the singles "Texas Hold ’Em" and "16 Carriages."
