Here is a look at some of your favorite 92.5 XTU Jocks on Halloween.

Halloween was THE greatest holiday as a kid.  You got to dress up as your favorite superhero or Disney princess and people would tell you how adorable you looked. Oh yeah, who can forget that people would give you tons of free candy?  A holiday where you get free candy is almost unbeatable.

Now when you become a grown-up, Halloween is still cool but it’s never the same.  The cool thing about Halloween as a grown-up is the witty costumes.  People are super creative with their costumes.

I (Donnie) was talking to Andie about Halloween when she was younger and she had some funny stories to share.  She said her mom did not like Halloween and wished the holiday never happened. When Andie was in first grade, her family dressed her up as Betsy Ross. She said it was the worst Halloween ever because they had not learned about Betsy Ross yet so none of her classmates knew who she was.  She paraded around recess with her grandmother’s wig, a crotcheted shawl that her grandmother made, and an American flag.  She said this Halloween was probably her worst.

Speaking of homemade costumes, my parents dressed me up at a table one year. Yes, a table.  They cut a hole in a box for my head and 2 holes on the side for my arms.  They used a plastic tablecloth to cover the box and then they super glued plastic dinner plates and cups to the box along with plastic cups and cutlery. This was the 2nd most uncomfortable costume of my life. The most uncomfortable costume was when I was about 8 years old. My parents borrowed a friend’s First Holy Communion white dress, shoes, and veil. Yes, my parents dressed me up as a bride.  Why? I have no idea.  I recently asked them about it and my mom and dad both laughed out loud and said we had no idea what we were thinking.  I do not pity any woman for having to wear dress shoes.  I remember my feet bleeding for at least a week.

The jocks at XTU have had some cool costumes over the years! From Ruth Bader Ginsberg to Catwoman to Ted Lasso to Bad Santa.

Take a look at some of the best costumes the XTU staff has worn for Halloween over the years!
