It’s that time of year again. It’s time to dress up as your favorite superhero, TV character, or some sorta witty costume.
Are you a couples costume type of person? My wife has been begging me to do a couples costume but the only problem is we never have anywhere to go. We want one of our friends to throw a house party like we did back in the day, but everyone has kids now so it wouldn’t be that kind of party anymore.
Halloween is not just for the kids. Adults get all decked up and hit up Halloween parties, especially college kids. I remember doing group costumes in college and they would crush! You never just had 1 Halloween party in college. You had to wear that costume for 3 straight weekends and it was always awesome. When adults do Halloween parties, you have 2 choices. You can either go out to a bar that is having a costume party or go to a friend’s house where everyone dresses up. Most likely there is a prize for the Best Costume or Best Couples Costume.
Whether you go to a party at a bar or a friend’s house, you need a quality Halloween playlist. Sorta like Christmas music, Halloween music is only good for about a month out of the year and then it just doesn’t make sense. I would say more Halloween songs can get a pass being played outside of the season than Christmas music which would be weird to play in April. I’m not judging because I love a good Johnny Mathis Christmas song in the Spring.
So when it comes to getting a Halloween playlist together, you have to go with the classics but of course mix in a random song from time to time. You know every single Halloween playlist has to include Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” or it’s not a Halloween playlist.
Here are … songs to complete your Halloween Party Playlist.
