What a time to be in Philly. A beloved Philadelphia athlete has been named one of People’s Sexiest Man Alive. People Magazine has been teasing it for about a week, and we couldn’t agree more with their Philly pick. He is joined by Timothée Chalamet, Lenny Kravitz, Pedro Pascal, Usher, and Jamie Foxx. I really thought Pedro Pascal would be chosen this year, but supposedly the person has to accept it because they do a photo shoot, interview, etc. So unfortunately Pedro isn’t it.
Rumores have been saying it’s Ryan Gossling. That would make sense actually. He didn’t do much over the last few years, then he not only starred as Ken in the Barbie movie, but honestly stole the show. He was so good. We still can’t get over that dance number.
So who else made the Sexiest Man Alive list? Chris Evans had the title last year, Paul Rudd was 2021, Michael B Jordan 2020, John Legend 2019, Idris Elba 2018, and our beloved Blake Shelton had the title in 2017. Another Philly gem Bradley Cooper got the title in 2011, and Ryan Reynolds in 2010.
As for country singers, no one had a bigger year than Morgan Wallen, and then there’s Zach Bryan. Although I feel like the Sexist Man Alive is always a little older and very famous. Zach Bryan is selling out stadiums, but the average person doesn’t know who he is. Which is a story in and of itself. I am surprised Tom Brady or Luke Bryan never made the list. They are mega famous, which a huge fan base. Unless they were asked and they declined. Supposedly it happens alot, which is why it sometimes takes a while to actually find someone. Same with the Super Bowl. Rumor has it, Usher wasn’t even confirmed until a few hours before the announcement went out.
This year, one of Philadelphia’s most beloved athletes made the list of People’s Sexiest Man Alive, and I have a feeling you’re going to be very excited.
Bryce Harper Would Have Been a Great Choice
Bryce has what the kids call “the rizz.” Charisma. He knows he’s a star and he acts like a star. I wish he would do more for Philly, like start a charity, visit sick kids, hopefully he starts to do more soon.

Nick Castellanos Should Have Definitely Made It
The gold chair, the black hair, the open shirt, the smirk. Nick looks like he could be straight out of South Philly. Everything he does is cool. Even how he celebrates. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of him out and about over the next few seasons.

JT is the best catcher in baseball, and the best looking. Even though his bats went cold and the Phillies didn’t make it the World Series, he’s still an amazing athlete. He didn’t make People’s list this year, but we have hope.
