The Andie Summers Show

HolidayHallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2023 lineup is out and it looks spectacular! Here is the second batch of new Christmas movies from the network.

The Hallmark Channel is going all out for the holidays. That’s no surprise. But if the cooler weather has got you thinking about curling up under a blanket with a big mug full of hot chocolate and loaded with marshmallows (the little ones, of course) to watch your favorite Hallmark Christmas movies, you are in luck! And you don’t have to wait until after Thanksgiving to watch strangers fall in love in a small town.

Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas movies has become a staple in the homes of so many people over the years. These are movies that make you smile and feel good about the world. Are they realistic? Maybe not always. But they do offer hope. It is a wonderful escape to fall into one of these small towns (like Yuletide Springs) and fall in love with the real estate agent or mechanic.

The formula is simple.

You usually see someone from the big city wind up in a small town and get stuck there for one reason or another. While they fight the new change of pace at first, it quickly becomes charming to them … as they also fall in love with one of the local “townies.” Santa often makes an appearance, but even when he’s not on-screen, you know his magic is at hand when you see the leading couple kiss for the first time. Ahhhh … get ready to snuggle with the love in your life, whether it’s your spouse or partner, best friend, kid, or pet. Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2023 is meant to be shared.
