The Andie Summers Show

Visitors arrive at the Barbie Dreamhouse Experience in Berlin, Germany.

Halloween is a magical time. But living in one neighborhood that became Barbieland for Halloween is a pink dream come true.

There will be two beautiful blondes with their handsome partners walking the streets this Halloween. Taylor Swift with Travis Kelce, and Barbie and Ken. Daybreak, Utah is leaning toward the latter couple. That is where there is a neighborhood that has transformed the streets and houses to look like Barbieland.

When you think of a real-life Barbieland, you might imagine a place of bright colors, fun activities, and endless possibilities. A place where everyone is welcome to be themselves and express their creativity.

Buildings painted in pastel colors (mostly pink) and decorated with hearts and flowers. The streets are lined with trees and flowers, and there are playgrounds and parks everywhere.

My imaginary Barbieland includes a variety of shops and restaurants where residents buy the latest Barbie-inspired clothes, a toy store for Barbie dolls and accessories, and a candy store full of my favorite Barbie-themed treats.

While I’m at it, I might as well add a Barbie water park and a Barbie theme park, complete with a roller coaster. There is something for everyone to enjoy in Barbieland.

Barbieland is a place where dreams come true. And one Utah neighborhood is making sure that happens this Halloween.

Real-Life Barbieland for Halloween

One of the residents of this Daybreak, Utah neighborhood, Liz, has been sharing videos on TikTok of the transformation and activities happening right in her back and front yard. The homes in this neighborhood have turned into the Barbie Dreamhouse, a Disco Barbie house, a Pool Party Barbie home, a Weird Barbie house, a Haunted Barbie house, and there’s even a Mojo Dojo Casa House. The neighborhood also has a Barbie Graveyard, which features a tombstone that reads, “R.I.P. The Patriarchy.” The videos are tremendous. Be sure to scroll down to see them!
