Taylor is bringing the Eras Tour to Minneapolis this weekend and Cincinnati, Ohio next weekend. Do you think she knew that Minneapolis is where the Eagles won Super Bowl 52!? It’s Taylor Swift, I feel like she doesn’t do ANYTHING that is not well thought out.
When Taylor was in Philly in May for the Eras Tour at The Linc, she not only said Philly was her hometown, but also confirmed that the line “with my Eagles t-shirt hanging from the door” in her song Gold Rush is in fact about the Philadelphia Eagles! People weren’t sure if she was talking about the Eagles band or the Eagles sports team. Taylor is from Reading so we were hoping it was the Eagles team, and Taylor being Taylor made us feel all warm by confirming it was. She even said at her show that she remembers every Sunday her Dad watching Eagles games.
Taylor has been spending a lot of time in recording studios lately. The speculation is that Taylor is re-recording 1989 and we are going to get 1989 Taylor’s version soon! I love 1989 but I’m trying to wait patiently for Reputation, which is my favorite Taylor album.
We’re not sure why Taylor was wearing a Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt, but we sure do love it. Can we get her to do a hype video for the season and have Taylor and Jalen in a few pics for the gram?
