WOW! This was first reported a little over a year ago before Beyonce dropped her Renaissance album. However, there weren’t any country songs on the album. However, Deux Moi, which is the authority in all things pop-culture just dropped new info about a brand new album that seems pretty legit.
If you remember, Beyonce is not a stranger to country music. Not only did she grow in Houston, TX, but she also performed on the CMA’s with The Chicks in 2016. Known at the time as The Dixie Chicks, they did a mashup with the trio’s “Long Time Gone.” Lights came up on Beyoncé, Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Strayer before they started clapping, diving into a call and response of “Texas” — where they all are from.
Reports are saying that Beyonce is covering a Dolly Parton song and that the album will feature one if not two A-List singers. It would be incredible if Dolly was actually on the album, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

There has been a lot of artists who have crossed over to country – Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani just to name a few, so this seems like a natural fit to have a Texas girl make a country album Maybe Cody Johnson, who is the hottest artist from Texas right now, will also have a song!
