It’s Happening! Taylor Swift announces a surprise second leg of The Eras Tour in North America! As Taylor used as a caption on her social media “Turns out it’s not the end of an era.” She’s so witty! She’s doing 15 new shows in North America!

This weekend at So-Fi in Los Angeles is the last leg of her North American tour. She has yet to do Canada and a lot of Swifties have been upset about that. One thing about all the venues in Canada is that they aren’t as big as the stadiums she’s playing in the US so that was something her team was trying to figure out.

One thing to look forward to is more surprise songs! Every night of the Eras Tour, Taylor performs two secret songs during the show. One of on the piano and the other one is on the guitar. It’s been really amazing because you get to hear these really special songs stripped down acoustic. It shows just how talented Taylor Swift is. It’s not talked about enough how Taylor writes all of her own music. There are many songs that are written literally just by her. She still hasn’t played “New Romantics”, “Dress” or “New Year’s Day”. Also would love “London Boy”, although we probably won’t get that since she clearly wrote that about Joe Alwyn and they have since broken up. During Taylor’s Philly shows, one of her secret songs was “Gold Rush” where she confirmed the line “with my Eagles t-shirt hanging from the door” is indeed about the Philadelphia Eagles.

Taylor Swift opened The Eras Tour the weekend of March 17 & 18 at State Farm Arena in Phoenix and will be closing the US portion of the tour on August 3–5, 7, 8, and 9 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. It’s the first time a single artist has sold out six nights in a row at the stadium.

  • We Knew Something Was Coming With This Tweet

Taylor Swift song “August” has been a soundtrack to the month since she released it on her Folklore album in 2020, but obviously had quite the resurgence since she started The Eras Tour. The lyric is she talking about in the song says “But do you remember? Remember when I pulled up and said, ‘Get in the car’ And then canceled my plans just in case you’d call? Back when I was livin’ for the hope of it all, for the hope of it all ‘Meet me behind the mall'”. I keep joking that she’s going to single-handedly save malls with this song.

  • She's Headed To Europe and Asia

But first she goes to South America.  Starting on 8/24 she is playing Mexico City, Brazil and Argentina.  She has off for basically December and January and then kicks off the 2024 portion of The Eras Tour in Japan in February.  And she’s brining her bff and Paramore lead Hayley Williams with her!

  • Philly Was a Dream

So many people were mad because she called Philly her hometown. I agree with her. There is no stadium in Reading, she grew up an Eagles fan, it’s her hometown show. I have two hometowns too. Summit Hill and Philly!

  • Miami

The first city in the US that Taylor will be back in is Miami. The only city in Florida she did before was Tampa, so this is a big deal. She’ll be in Miami in 2024 on October 18th, 19th and 20th.

  • New Orleans

Get excited NOLA, Taylor is headed to the Big Easy. She didn’t do many dates in the South on the first part of The Eras Tour so it’s a treat she will be in Louisiana. She’ll be in New Orleans in 2024 on October 26th, 26th and 27th.

  • Indianapolis

The midwest is getting Tay Tay!  Too bad Carson Wentz and Nick Foles still aren’t on the Colts, they seem like they would enjoy The Eras Tour.  She’ll be in Indy in 2024 on November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

  • Toronto

It’s happening!  Taylor is coming to Canada, eh!  She is doing not one, two, three, four, five, but SIX dates in Toronto at Rogers Centre, which is where the Blue Jays play.  I’m excited for our friends to the North.  They deserve a chance to see The Ears Tour in all it’s glory.

  • Taylor Official Announcement

It’s only four new cities, but it’s 15 new dates to see her on The Eras Tour Round 2 in North America!  I know it will be hard to get tickets, but it’s worth trying.  I would love to see it again. Two of my best friends are going to the LA shows and I’m so jealous!
