Season 2 dropped a few months ago, and Season 3 is reportedly coming to FX/Hulu in 2024. Needless to say, Jeremey Allen White is one of the hottest new actors out right now. Calvin Klein wasted no time capitalizing on his recent fame.
The Bear
The Bear is about a young chef who inherits his family’s sandwich shop after his older brother’s death. He comes home to Chicago to run it, leaving behind his world of working in a Michelin-star restaurant. He is left to deal with his brother’s unresolved debts, a rundown kitchen, and an unruly staff while dealing with his own pain and family trauma.
To prepare for the role in The Bear, Jeremy attended classes at the Institute of Culinary Education. He went alongside his co-star Ayo Edebiri. The role has won him a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 2023.
