Yes, this is real. Under every seat at the Oscars, there was a real Philly Soft Pretzel! Adam Shapiro, who grew up in Abington, has lived in LA for 25 years and in the pandemic missed Philly so much he created a real life Philly pretzel in LA. Adam is married to Katie Lowes (you probably know her as Quinn from Scandal) and they have made everyone in LA love Philly pretzels. Turns out Jimmy Kimmel is such a huge fan, he asked Adam and Katie to make enough pretzels to put under every seat at the Oscars! Over 4000 pretzels!
