The 2023 Country Music Association Awards, or CMAs, are coming up on November 8th, and that means it’s time to make our picks. This is your chance to vote for CMA Entertainer of the Year. Have you ever wondered who chooses the winners? As a lifetime member of the CMA, I have the opportunity to vote for the awards you see given at the live broadcast ceremony in Nashville. I consider it a privilege, and not one I take lightly. As you are who we play the music for, I think it is only right for you to complete my ballot. You, XTU Nation, have a voice in who will be awarded the trophies at this year’s CMA Awards.
What is CMA?
Before we get into the categories, do you know what the CMA is? The Country Music Association was established in 1958, making it the first trade organization formed to promote country music. According to CMA World, the very first CMA Awards Show was a banquet held in 1967. It has become the longest-running annual music awards program on television.
The awards are voted on by the more than 6,200 industry professionals who are members of the CMA. And this year they have a tough row to hoe.
This year the CMA is celebrating its 57th year with the awards show set for November 8th, 2023. The event will be held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and will be hosted by Luke Bryan with Peyton Manning. You can watch the show live on ABC, or stream it on Hulu.
