Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade is once again in person and floats, bands, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their way down the 1.4 mile parade route. Get all the details on the route, times, and more below.

  • When Does the Philly Thanksgiving Day Parade Start?

    The Thanksgiving Day Parade starts Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 9:00 am, however, pre-show festivities will begin at 8:30 am.  If you’d like to see the parade in person be sure to get to a spot along the route early and come prepared, chairs, blankets, and snacks are advised. The route is 1.4 miles long and starts at 20th Street and JFK Parkway then turns left on 16th Street, left onto Ben Franklin Parkway and up to the Art Museum.

  • Where to Watch the Philly Thanksgiving Day Parade

    The best viewing spots at in the grandstands, along the Parkway, at JFK Plaza, Love Park, Sister Cities Park, Logan Circle, the Franklin Institute, and Art Museum. You can also of course was the parade live on 6ABC.

  • Getting to the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade

    If you plan to view the parade in person be mindful that many streets will be closed along the parade route. Check out Philadelphia Parking Authority’s Parking Locator for garage parking availability.  SEPTA is also an option and many spots are within walking distance of the parade route.
