A winter storm watch is now in effect Friday evening (January 28) through Saturday evening (January 29) for New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The National Weather Service has reported a possible accumulation of 4 to 9 inches to make landfall with wind gusts as high as 40 mph for Delaware, Philadelphia, Eastern Montgomery, and Lower Bucks counties. New Jersey is expected heavy snow between 6-12 inches to make landfall with wind gusts as high as 45 mph.

However, the storm total snow forecast remains very uncertain.
