What’s Cookin’ with Nicole: Sugared Prosecco Grapes
It’s summertime and what’s better than a little healthy-ish cool treat for the beach, pool, picnic, etc! Heck, maybe you can even bring them with you to work. Ha.
This recipe is very easy and delicious and can even be made with ginger ale or Sprite if you’re not into using alcohol. Not to mention how fun that you can now get beer, wine, and spirits at Acme!
Ingredients:
- Grapes – I also use blackberries and raspberries.
- Prosecco – I used a small bottle, but you just need enough to soak your fruit depending on how much you’re using.
- Sugar – I used about 1 cup.
- Wash the fruit and place it in a glass bowl. Pour Prosecco over top and let soak for 8 hours or overnight.
Once soaked, take out fruit – one at a time – and roll in sugar. You can eat right away or place on a dry baking sheet or glass bowl and freeze it. Bottoms Up!
