Tim McGraw Reveals Travis Kelce Didn’t Know Taylor Swift’s Song “Tim McGraw”
How incredible the one and only Tim McGraw called into my show to talk about the Phillies, his tour, and new music, and of course we had to talk about Travis and Taylor. Tim McGraw revealed Travis Kelce didn’t know Taylor Swift’s song, “Tim McGraw.”
Here’s the back story, Tim McGraw was at Citizens Bank Park for the Phillies game on Monday to watch them take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tim obviously isn’t a stranger to coming to Phillies games, so it was awesome to see him for the playoffs. What was fun was that he was hanging out with Jason and Travis Kelce, who were also at the game. There is a picture floating around of Travis and Tim so of course I had to ask Tim if he mentioned one of Taylor’s most iconic songs is about him! Tim said he didn’t think Travis knew Taylor had a song called “Tim McGraw” and Tim also said he told him he needed to know about “Highway Don’t Care.”

Nicole: “So you were hanging out with the Kelce Brothers, obviously, Jason and Travis on Monday at the game. And they had pictures all over the place and they talked about you on the New Heights podcast. Did you know that? I didn’t know that, but it was a lot of fun hanging out with those nice guys really well. But I felt like I felt like I was like 12 years old standing next to a big guy and I, you know, I’m six foot tall and I was standing next to those guys. I felt like, man, I’m like five-three. I know. It’s so funny when you meet when you meet professional athletes, you’re like, Oh, that’s why you’re a professional athlete because you’re six-five.”
Tim: “Yeah. What I’m saying is six-eight when I look at that, oh wow.”
Nicole: “Yeah, it was fun. They talked about it on the podcast. They just said it was so cool to meet you. And my first reaction was, did Travis sing “Tim McGraw” (Taylor’s Version) to you when he met you?”
Tim: “You know, I don’t know that he knew it.”
Nicole: “But he has to learn. I mean, that’s like Taylor’s first most iconic song is you.”
Tim: “Taylor’s first song was me, then we did a song together called “Highway Don’t Care,” you got to catch up.”
Nicole: “Yeah. And he’s like, okay, okay. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. That’s so good.”

Tim McGraw Shows Up To Phillies Game WITH The Phanatic
Tim McGraw made an epic entrance with the Phillie Phanatic during the NLCS Game One in Philadelphia. The country music superstar has long been known to be a Phillies fan since his dad played on the 1980 championship team.
Game one is in the books with a huge win for Philadelphia, 5-3 over the Arizona Diamondbacks. These two teams both came out of the Wild Card, the Phillies are the fourth seed and Arizona occupies the sixth seed. Now don’t sleep on the D-Backs because they completed two sweeps in the playoffs including that of the number two-seeded Dodgers.
Game 1: Monday, October 16th – 8:07 pm EST in Philadelphia (Phillies Win 5-3)
Game 2: Tuesday, October 17th – 8:07pm EST in Philadelphia
Game 3: Thursday, October 19th – 5:07pm EST in Arizona
Game 4: Friday, October 20th – 8:07pm EST in Arizona
Game 5: Saturday, October 21st – 8:07 pm EST in Arizona (if necessary)
Game 6: Monday, October 23rd – 5:07 pm EST in Philadelphia (if necessary)
Game 7: Tuesday, October 24th – 8:07 pm EST in Philadelphia (if necessary)
The NLCS Matchup
The Philadelphia Phillies are in their second straight National League Championship Series. Last year, they played the San Diego Padres and beat them to be awarded the title of National League Champions.
This year, they will take on the Arizona Diamondbacks who just barely squeaked into the playoffs with an 84-78 record. They are the sixth-seeded team in the National League side of the postseason bracket. That’s the seed the Phillies occupied last season.
Now despite being the last team in, don’t sleep on the Diamondbacks. They swept the Brewers (who won the NL Central) in the Wild Card Round in Milwaukee, then swept the number two-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers. SWEPT THEM. That’s impressive. They haven’t lost a game this playoff season.
But the good news is, the Diamondbacks have a worse regular season than the Phillies, so the series starts and ends in Philadelphia, home field advantage baby!!
