Jake Owen Announced As Barefoot Country Music Festival
The Barefoot Country Music Festival is back for the summer of 2024. The festival will once again take place on the beach in Wildwood, NJ once again with 40 of your favorite artists on two stages. The dates for this year’s festival are June 20th to June 23rd.
In early September, Luke Bryan announced that he would be headlining one of the nights for the Barefoot Country Music Festival. Luke Bryan just performed at 92.5 XTU’s Anniversary Show this past June absolutely crushed it! The guy really gets the crowd into it and plays hit after hit. You don’t sit down at a Luke Bryan show, you dance and sing the entire time. Then, Keith Urban announced he would be the 2nd headliner at this year’s Barefoot Country Music Festival. Keith and the beach go hand in hand! Kane Brown announced he would be the 3rd headliner last week. Last Friday, Old Dominion got in on the headlining action as they announced they would be the 4th and final headliner.
Now, it’s time to fill out the rest of the lineup. Bailey Zimmerman will be taking the stage.
The next artist who will grace the stage at the Barefoot Country Music Fest will be… JAKE OWEN!
If you have not been to a Barefoot Country Music Fest, you are definitely missing out! Imagine this… You are standing right on the sand in gorgeous weather, enjoying a beverage with great food and awesome country music. That is what the Barefoot Country Music Festival is all about
Over the past 3 years, the festival has seen many amazing headliners including Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jon Pardi, Dan + Shay, Darius Rucker, Hardy, Florida Georgia Line, Kid Rock, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, Zac Brown Band, and Cole Swindell.
Other artists include Riley Green, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Bret Michaels, Parker McCollum, Dustin Lynch, Walker Hayes, Chris Janson, Parmalee, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Michael Ray, and many more. Some heavy hitters right there! Each year, they book an artist who isn’t necessarily country but more of a rock-type artist. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, and Bret Michaels were the 3 random acts they chose. I wonder which not-so-country act will be booked for this year?

17 Songs That Made Luke Bryan A True Superstar
Luke Bryan is a superstar today with twenty-seven number-one country songs to his credit. He is also a TV star as he is placed firmly as a celebrated Judge along with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie on TV’s American Idol.
Last month, Bryan was rehearsing for his “Country On Tour” in the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville during CMA Fest week. He had some of his people go out into the street, which was full of CMA Fest fans from all over the world, and gather about 30 of them inside for something unique. The fans did not know what or who to expect, and then Luke appeared. When he entered the room, he said, “Alright, you all ready?” The fans erupted into cheers and screams.
Bryan then sang his new song “Beer In My Hand” for the intimate crowd, walking around meeting the fans and taking selfies with them. Luke posted a video clip of what happened on Instagram; he captioned the post, “I’ve always wanted to do that. Anything can happen at #CMAfest! #BeerInMyHand.”
As he currently tours the country on his summer dates for his “Country On Tour,” he recently announced that he will headline his fourteenth “Farm Tour” this September during a break from his “Country On Tour.” The Georgia native will set up stages in the fields of local farms from September 14-23, 2023.
Luke said of his Farm tradition, “One of the reasons we created these Farm Tour shows – to bring the big-city tour to the people. These nights are one-of-a-kind, and we really enjoy getting to know the farmers and their families; we love the whole atmosphere of playing on these incredible farms and watching entire communities come together and get excited about these shows.”

Since 2009 when the Farm Tour began, Luke has granted 78 college scholarships to students from farming families to their local college or university near the tour stops. Over the years, event sponsors have donated money, food, and resources to the local communities and nationally.
Bryan celebrates his 47th birthday today (7/17), and to honor him, we ranked 17 of his finest songs.
