The Frontmen performance ties together country music nostalgia as they tease new music.
Familiar Faces
You may recognize the guys behind the guitars and the keyboard in The Frontmen.
The Frontmen features three 90’s country legends and lead singers. The band includes Richie McDonald of Lonestar, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart and Tim Rushlow of Little Texas.
Collectively, they have sold over 30 million records and had over 30 major hits. They are like the Avengers of 90’s country music. When they assemble, it creates magic you have to see for yourself.
The Frontmen Performance
Richie McDonald leads his brothers in a performance of one of Lonestar’s biggest hits from 1999, “What About Now”.
Clearly, the guys are having a great time traveling around the country performing for their fans and visiting their friends they have had for 30 years at 92.5 XTU.
The Frontmen play a medley of their hits. To kick it off, Larry Stewart leads the group in Restless Heart’s “Why Does It Have To Be”. Richie then plays arguably the song of the decade in the 1990s “Amazed”. Tim rounds it out with a rousing rendition of “God Bless Texas” by Little Texas. It is sing-a-long time.
After the trip down memory lane, The Frontmen tease new music. Their new single “Beatles And The Eagles”. Listen to it below.
The Frontmen told Andi Summers during their chat at the ACMs that they are making a special version of the song just for Philadelphia. Scroll into 2:38 on the video below to hear about it! E-A-G-L-E-S!
