Free Library Of Philadelphia Brings Stories, Shows to LOVE Park Holiday Market
Kids can gather around the outdoor stage on December 10 and 17, with sessions running from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. While there, families can check out the Bank of America market’s spinning carousel, towering Ferris wheel, and fun kids’ train.
The festivities spread to local neighborhoods too. On December 14, the Joseph E. Coleman Library branch will come alive with a lively Kwanzaa celebration.
The magic of ballet comes to the Parkway Central branch when Pages to Pirouettes puts on “The Nutcracker” on December 15 at 2 p.m. Everyone gets a hot chocolate voucher and can try some simple ballet moves. After the show, someone will win an awesome Nutcracker prize.
At the German-style market, people can learn about traditions from Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa celebrations. Santa shows up throughout the season to meet with excited kids.
