Festival season is here, and the US is home to some of the biggest music, food, and cultural festivals across the world.
To celebrate all the great festivities going on across the country, Betway decided to analyze the most popular festivals in each state based on search volumes in the past 12 months.
Using popular keywords to calculate the total number of searches for the top festivals in Pennsylvania, it is revealed that the most popular festival in the state is the Mummers Parade. Would you consider it a festival? It is steeped in such tradition.
In total, the longest-running folk parade had 241,270 searches in the past year and was a clear favorite when it came to festivals in the state.
Applefest was the second most popular festival in Pennsylvania with 73,730 searches in the past year followed narrowly behind by Musikfest in third that had 64,610 keyword searches.

Can’t say we are surprised that Mummer’s Parade was ranked #1. It is quite famous. Apple Fest coming in #2 was a tad surprising. Apple Fest is exactly what it sounds like: apples galore! Franklin, PA is all the way out in Western PA, a little over an hour away from Pittsburgh.
The Hamburg-er Festival seems very fun, too, and that’s fairly close to Philadelphia. Hamburg, PA is near Reading, so around an hour away. The Firebird Festival is pretty close, too, along with Musikfest. Odunde Festival and Mummer’s are obviously both in Philadelphia.
