Country Star To Join ‘The Voice’ as Mega Mentor
The Voice Season 24 kicked off this fall of 2023. This year’s coaches include Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and first-time host Reba McEntire. Our favorite red-headed country singer replaced Blake Shelton’s 23-season run in the singing competition. Reba announced herself as the new coach in the best way she could, by singing about it. In a statement announcing his departure, Shelton said, “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23.” He continued, “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me.”
The Mega Mentor
Wynonna Judd will be season 24’s Mega Mentor. Judd will mentor each remaining contestant as they prepare for the three-way knockout rounds beginning next week. In an Instagram video, Reba McEntire welcomed her fellow country artist, saying “Wy is the perfect person for this and I can’t wait for you to see all the great advice she gives to these talented artists.”
Wynonna announced her role on “The Voice” on social media with the clever caption, “I’m a Judd, not a Judge.” She continued, “It is such a privilege to be the Mega Mentor on this season.” “The Voice” has had some spectacular Mega Mentors in the past, including Legend, Stefani, and McEntire. See the pattern? Previous Mega Mentors have become full-time coaches on “The Voice.” Wynonna could become another coach soon if the show keeps up with this trend. As for for now and after her guest appearance on “The Voice” Wynonna will return to wrap up her Back To Wy Tour.
When To Watch Wynonna Judd
Wynonna Judd will make her appearance on “The Voice” as a mega mentor during the three-way knockout rounds beginning November 6th.
