The eclipse is coming! Here are some really stellar Eclipse songs to add to your playlist.
When Is The Solar Eclipse?
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will sweep across North America, passing right through this area! We will not see total coverage in Philadelphia. Instead, it will be roughly 88% covered. But, that’s still a cool thing to see.
In fact, the next total solar eclipse that will be visible from the U.S. won’t be until 2044! So make sure you find a time and place to watch it.
According to NASA, this one will be at least partially visible to 99% of people who live in the United States. That’s a pretty unique occurrence, huh?
Make A Solar Eclipse Soundtrack
You want to get the mood right for this cool solar event. After all, this kind of thing is pretty trippy and awesome to witness.
A good thing to do would be to make an eclipse playlist. Get corny, get weird, get in the spirit!
Add all kinds of celestial songs to your Eclipse playlist. Anything space-related goes. You get added points for anything with “eclipse” in the title.
For some, playing songs from, or even the entire Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon may be the best way to create a memorable soundtrack for this event.
For others, a tapestry of songs pulled from all kinds of genres may be more fitting.
Soundtrack this cool solar event. It’s a fun project for you and those you’re watching the eclipse with. We made this list to hopefully get you started on your epic eclipse playlist.
