Jeff Kurkjian went to the Skippack July 4th Parade for the first time and it could be argued that it’s the cutest small town parade you’ve ever seen! He lives in Skippack, PA with his wife (pregnant with their first baby) and their dog, Pirate.
And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free And I won’t forget the men who died Who gave that right to me And I’d gladly stand up next to you And defend Her still today ‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.America celebrates its 247th birthday
And we got to be together for it. Our great country was founded on July 4th, 1776, right here in the great city of Philadelphia. The Declaration of Independence was signed this day 247 years ago. It declared our independence from England and, in affect, started the Revolutionary War.

Small town July 4th parade
So where is this small town parade that Jeff and Emily went to? They live in Skippack, Pennsylvania. For those wondering, it borders Collegeville, same exit off the turnpike as Lansdale, just on the other side of 476. Does that help you pin point it a bit?
Thanks for listening to 92.5 XTU, now let’s take a look at Jeff’s photos!
