9 Holiday Themed Doors on Disney Cruise Lines
The magic on Disney Cruise Lines doesn’t stop when you leave the Broadway-style shows, the themed parties, or the immersive dining. The Magic continues into your luxurious stateroom! This time, however, it’s you who creates the magic.
Holiday Themed Doors
When entering one of the many ships on Disney Cruise Lines you notice the attention to detail when decorating and theming. The guests even join in on the fun! The doors that lead into staterooms onboard the ships are made of metal. It’s easy to stick magnets and decorations on your door. Doors can be decorated any way you like. Our neighbors are from Japan, and their door not only has decorations, but they are giving away Japanese candy!
Some doors contain little pouches for gifts. Cruisers go around from stateroom to stateroom and drop off little presents to each other. It’s almost like Christmas-time trick or treating. I have seen doors decorated for anniversaries, honeymoons, and even birthdays. Your door can be as magical as you want.
There are a few rules, however. Decorations must be magnetic and cannot hang over the door. This is to make sure the doors don’t get damaged and can seal properly. So where do you get these magnets? It seems like lots of the doors have homemade magnets but you can also grab some “starter” kits on Amazon and Etsy.
On Another Note…
Another thing on a Disney Cruise is the food. Cruises are kind of known for the food served on board. Nothing prepared me for what I was going to find onboard a Disney Cruise. Also, all my friends talked up the Mickey Mouse Waffle incessantly. Is worth the hype? Find out my final verdict by clicking the link below.
