March 27^th is Quirky Country Music Song Titles Day!

Why does it need its own day?  I am not quite sure.  Every day of the year, we celebrate something random.

Did you know that today is also National “Joe” Day?  It’s a day to celebrate people with the name “Joe.” I have so many questions… Is there a National Andie Day, or National Jeff Day, National Donnie Day, or a National Shannon Day?  Those are quality names and deserve their own day.

Other things to celebrate on March 27th… National Spanish Paella Day, International Medical Science Liaison Day, National Scribble Day, World Theatre Day, and it’s National Whiskey Day!

I want the job to come up with these National holidays.  Seems random and fun!

• "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" - Kenny Chesney

  If anyone can get away with this title, it’s Kenny Chesney.  This was a huge hit for Kenny and is still played in many bars!

• "I Want My Mullet Back" - Billy Ray Cyrus

  Not much to say about this song.  It’s quirky so it fits this list.

• "Beer for my Horses" - Toby Keith and Willie Nelson

  Who doesn’t love this song?  It’s a classic and is still heavily played!

• "It’s Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night" - Vince Gill

  The title is much longer but just the short title is quirky enough!

• "If French Fries Were Fat Free" - Alan Jackson

  Really quirky title but can you imagine “If French Fries Were Fat Free.”  OMG!

• "Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)" - Travis Tritt

  I have used this joke before.  Super fun and super quirky song!

• "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" - Joe Nichols

  A hit for Joe Nichols and a really funny song.

• "Honky Tonk, Badonkadonk" - Trace Adkins

  This song makes me LOL every time.  If you are not sure what he is referring to, you may have to look that one up!

• "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" - Big & Rich

  A huge fan favorite!  I hear this song all the time at many bars.  Super quirky!

• "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" - Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson

   

• "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" - Shania Twain
