If you’re anything like me, you always Google “[show name] ending explained” in order to figure out what I just watched. I did the same thing for Stranger Things. The ending of Season Four of the hit Netflix show gave us some answers but left some questions as well. Naturally, we are being teased to a new season of Stranger Things.

SPOILER’S AHEAD, BIT ALERT!

Jeff Kurkjian is a huge fan of the show and if you read the whole story, you will see a surprise at the end of him dressed as a character!

According to Ross Duffer, one half of the The Duffer Brothers who created the show, talked about the idea of this season’s big villain, Vecna, the creation of him and the humanization of the creature as well. He said this in an interview with Deadline.

We’ve always wanted to do this style of villain with Vecna, it was just a matter of when. Part of that was driven by the fact that we wanted to go back to the “man in a suit” monster that we started with in Season One. We wanted our villain to be there, we wanted an actor on the set with the actors, and some of that came from our discussions of the types of horror movies that scared us the most growing up. They are all “man in a suit” horror movies.

That is really cool to get into the heads of those who created one of the best antagonists we’ve seen on television. The Duffer Brothers have kept a lot of what’s to happen next to themselves and have done little explaining to guide us as to what to expect for the final season of Stranger Things.

Here’s what they have said about season five in an article with Collider.

Season 5 is going to start pedal to the metal. We’re not going to do the ramp-up. There’s no time. There’s no normalcy, obviously, once you’ve reached the end of four. That’s not like there’s going to be time to explore our characters’ love life and how is Steve’s dating going? There’s going to be none of that, it’s just going to be going 100 miles an hour from the beginning.

As we get excited for season five, we wanted to share with you five great videos to help you clear up then ending of season four along with a couple of fun fan theories.
