The Andie Summers Show

These monthly baby pictures will without a doubt make you smile. We brought McKinley into this world on August 10th, 2023 and now she’s approaching her first birthday, kind of insane how fast it goes. Thank you to XTU Nation for all of the love and support to our little family over the last two years since we moved to the Philadelphia area.

Welcoming McKinley Hope Into The World

I remember thinking to myself, “why do people always count in months for babies?” Well I truly do understand now because they change SO MUCH from month-to-month so it makes sense to do monthly baby pictures.

Remember when we announced that she was HERE? Right after a Phillies no-hitter (on my birthday) and I remember it like it was yesterday. Check out the photos and the recap here.

What a beautiful girl, McKinley Hope Kurkjian. Born August 10th at 3:56am.

Emily went into the hospital the evening of Tuesday, August 8th to be induced since she was due all the way back on August 4th and they didn’t want her going past 41 weeks.

We arrived but little did we know that we wouldn’t meet McKinley Hope for another 30 or so hours. Emily had some complications but ultimately, she absolutely crushed it. I am and will always be in shock and awe as to what she did for this family. Never had more respect for every mother on earth since August 10th, truly amazing superheroes, all of them.

Monthly Baby Pictures of McKinley

Walk through her life so far, trust me, it moves quickly. That’s what everyone told me but now I realize it! What do you think is the biggest change? I think 1-2 months is huge but also 9-10 was kind of crazy too! AHH so hard to choose, you decide.

  • August 10th, 2023 - Welcome McKinley!

Our first baby was born just a couple hours after my 30th birthday. Big shout-out to the amazing nurses at Einstein Montgomery, there were truly incredible helping these new parents out. To my wife, Emily, I owe you my life for what you have done for this family. I am eternally grateful to you for bringing out sweet girl into this world. I love you. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cv5Z3skR0Z4/

  • One Month - WHAT?!

Oh I remember these days. I will be honest, this was the most nerve-racking time. They just let us take a baby home, how insane is that? Plus, the sleep anxiety was so real. Is she okay? Can she breathe? Is she awake? Asleep? Wake her up, she needs a bottle. This was such an amazing time but also a stressful one. Sometimes we just didn’t know why she was crying and I learned later, that’s okay!

  • Two Months - Looking A Little More Human

We always said that we felt like she was SO BIG in this picture. Finally having some cute personality, big smiles and a giggle here and there. She’s the best at cuddles at this time, loved rocking her to sleep and even taking contact naps with her. Nothing I loved more than coming home from the morning show, playing and then napping together. I miss those days.

  • Three Months - Cute Outfits!

Okay this outfit though, seriously looking like an adult. The month of many faces and outfit changes for our girl. This month we LOVE to smile. We also found our hands and love to suck on them. Our hair is as wild as ever and can’t be tamed. This month was big for us as we traveled to Vegas and the cabin in West Virginia!

  • Four Months - Loving Sweats

She’s starting to roll over ALL THE TIME. Which created a whole other issue when it comes to sleeping. New anxiety for mom and dad, of course. A sleep regression is crushing our sleep but she’s growing and learning so many things so I am not surprised at all!

  • Five Months - The Sass Is Real

We are starting to see a real personality 0n our girl and let me say, it’s amazing. In this month, she got baptized, which was so beautiful and important. Couldn’t ask for a better set of Godparents, Kiki (my sister) and Uncle Alex (Emily’s twin) are just the best. We love them!

  • Six Months - HALF BIRTHDAY

We got to celebrate at McKinley’s very first trip to DisneyWorld for her half-birthday. She met Mickey and Minnie Mouse, her favorites. She also had fun watching her parents drink in Epcot. We were very good on the plane, she is a very good traveler since she flies to and from Vegas to see her grandparents!

  • Seven Months - Doesn't She Look Like Me??

We’ve started to learn that she loves to be silly but also is adorably shy in front of new people. A little scoot here and there, loves her toys. Everything goes in her mouth, ain’t no doubt about that. Doing purees and a few solids. Mam I love this girl.

  • Eight Months - MAMA!

She loves her mama, and we know this because she won’t stop saying “mamamamamamammamamama” all the time! Am I jealous? Yep. Absolutely. She’s the cutest girl though and so that makes me happy.

  • Nine Months - My Twin

At this time, this is really when I starting hearing from people that we look so similar. So special. We also celebrate mama’s first Mother’s Day and boy was that special! Just cause we know how much she loves her mama. Nine months was the month of sickness though, allergies and more.

  • Ten Months - SUMMER TIME

She cannot wait to get in the pool that I just opened up in the backyard. She also loves CRAWLING everywhere. Chasing after her puppy brother, Ranger, is a huge source of entertainment for McKinley. She loves her Dada enough to start kinda saying “Dada” which is amazing. She also snorts when she laughs and I cannot get enough of that.

  • Eleven Months - SO SO CUTE!
