JUST ANNOUNCED! Disney is putting together a live action remake of their classic film, Beauty and The Beast which will air on ABC on Thursday, December 15th at 8pm EST.
It’s getting the 30-year anniversary treatment that Disney has give so many of their films.
Beast- Chris Pratt
Star-Lord said he loved every minute of shooting ‘Thor: Love and Thunder.’
Okay, so hear me out on this one. He’s BIG in the Marvel/Disney world so he’s already a company man and they absolutely love him. I’m not certain of his singing voice though… but Beast doesn’t sing A LOT, right?
He did perform with Chris Stapleton.
Gaston- Taylor Kitsch

You probably know him as the amazing Tim Riggins in the great show Friday Night Lights. I very much feel like he could play the BAD guy in this remake.

Gaston’s right-hand man needs to be comedic and just off-the-rails! Jonah Hill has had a long career in both drama and comedy, he’s a perfect fit for this role. Remember in 22 Jump Street when he performed slam poetry? This is what he’s capable of!

Also a Disney alum, recently playing Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Returns! She’s an extremely talented performer, she’s got an iconic British accent, it’s perfect.

This is one talented kid!! You might remember him from the 2015 Oscar winning film, Room, where he performed alongside Brie Larson. He also just starred in the film Wonder back in 2017. Check out the trailer here.
Maurice- Lin Manuel Miranda
Jon M. Chu who executive produced In The Heights, which was originally written and performed by Lin Manuel Miranda, is involved in this project. Miranda also is known for Disney, he was in Mary Poppins Returns and Hamilton which is streaming now on Disney+. He also wrote the music for Disney’s Encanto! He’s a big Disney guy and perfect to play Ariana Grande’s dad!
