The team of long hair is no more. Phillies superstar shocks fans with a brand new haircut. By the end of the 2023 season, there was multiple players with long lots and big bushy beards. We knew a cut was coming, but I don’t think if we were prepared for this. Full disclosure, I love it. I’m not a huge fan of long hair on guys, so the shorter the better, but I know I’m not the norm.

Also, there have been alot of talks that we might not only lose some hair in the off season, but we might lose two of our players. We know that Bryce is definitely back, but we weren’t sure about a few of our other star players. Now we know, at least two are definitely coming back. There have been so many rumors about players leaving the team, and we have been waiting to hear what will happen with Rhys Hoskins, Aaron Nola, and Nick Castellanos. We found out a few weeks ago that Bryce Harper will officially continue playing first base, which means it’s most likely Rhys Hoskins is done as a Philadelphia Phillie. It’s a hard pill to swallow for a lot of fans, as Rhys not only has been on the team the longest of the current players, he’s played his heart out especially when the team wasn’t good. And he and his wife also did so much for the city. We know sports is a business, but the worst part is when your favorite players leave. Rhys obviously was out all of last season after he tore his ACL at Spring Training. We were hoping if the Phillies made the World Series, he would be able to come back and play. Unfortunately, that never happened and it looks like Rhys will end his career playing for another team.

We know Bryce Harper isn’t leaving the team, so let’s take a look at where you might spot him around Philly in the off-season. Turns out Bryce loves a grocery store. It’s pretty funny he’s the suburban dad who goes to different stores to find his favorite foods. Now if he could start doing some charity work around Philly, that would make it even better. Fun fact, Bryce loves his hair, so much so, he is a co-owner of Blind Barber. It’s a chain and they have on in Philly.
