Isaiah Márquez-Greene couldn’t have been more surprised when the New York Rangers gave him a HUGE gift. He has been through a whole lot more than some adults have. A scholarship for Sandy Hook survivor is what we needed.
He is a survivor of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that happened in December of 2012. It’s crazy to think that this was eleven years ago. Isaiah unfortunately lost his sister (who was only six years old) in the shooting.
He thought that he was going to receive a jersey from New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba. However, he didn’t realize that he had a lot more to get from him.

Scholarship For Sandy Hook Survivor
This will just bring tears to your eyes. It’s hard to believe that students that were in elementary school back in 2012 could now be old as 21-years-old now. The country was rocked by this shooting that took 28 lives, twenty of which were children between the ages of six and seven.
