Well, this is sad news for two Phillies coaches who are not set to return for the 2024 baseball season. We will break down who they are and how this could affect the 2024 Philadelphia Phillies.
Phillies Lose In NLCS
This was a tough finish to what was an exciting season. The Phillies started off on a bumpy road. New signing, Trea Turner, took a lot of time to get going but from August to the end of the season, he was the player that we all hoped he could be.
Bryce Harper played first base for a large portion of the season (post All-Star Break) and that changed this team around as well. But all of that wasn’t enough to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Championship Series. After winning the first two games at home, they lost back-to-back games on the road only to go up 3-2 in the series heading home for games six and (possibly) seven.

Phillies 2024 Season
There are a lot of unanswered questions including, what will happen to the free agents that may or may not be signed by the Philadelphia Phillies? We have broken that down for you below.
When it comes to the coaching staff, a lot of fans have blamed the loss of the series on Manager Rob Thomson and are upset with his performance in the postseason. This fan’s perspective is that you need your stars to hit and they just didn’t hit at the end of the NLCS, that’s a fact.
