Razz wanted to be a forest ranger growing up. His time spent camping in and around the Pocono mountains inspired him to look up survival techniques and forest living. He dreamed about being a ranger until he got on the radio as a student at Slippery Rock University. When he talked up his first record on air at WRCK he was hooked. Growing up near the radio towers in the New Jersey meadowlands he imagined the DJs under the antennas talking to the millions on the air.
He graduated in 1985 and has worked at some of America’s greatest radio stations and companies, including Philadelphia’s WMMR and now he is the program director of 925XTU Philly’s Country Station. He worked his way up from nights to afternoons and now programming. You can find him on the air from 10a-12n every day.
Razz is an amateur writer and loves to travel. He lives with his wife Kelly in South Jersey with two incredibly rambunctious Jack Russell terriers. His son is an accountant in New York City.
