(WATCH) Luke Bryan Jumps Off Stage to Hug New Jersey Woman Battling Cancer!
This is such an heartfelt story. Let’s first send all the prayers we can to Jennifer Reeves. She needs all of the love, prayers, good thoughts she can take! I actually saw this happen in real time on Sunday, I was about 3 row behind. I checked the DMs on XTU’s Instagram and saw this amazing message from Shannon Reeves, who is Jennifer’s sister in law.
Here’s what the message said:
Her name is Jennifer Reeves. She is from Millville NJ. At the end of January she noticed a bump on her gums, thought it was an infection. Ended up having it biopsied and five days later she was told she had cancer, that they were going to remove her jaw and replace it with a bone from her leg. And then after doing some scans they found that she had cancer throughout her pelvis and femurs and that it’s a rare incurable cancer called synchronous multifocal osteosarcoma. She also has the added issue of dangerously low platelets, leading her to need transfusions multiple times a week.
She has been a Luke Bryan fan for years and that was like the ninth time she has seen him in concert. The most important and incredible part about the concert, is that this all came to be from the kindness of a stranger. The lady behind her who was also going through chemotherapy for cancer saw her and gave her a sign that she had made because she had two and when Jen held up the sign Luke saw it and came down off the stage to hug her.
She had to delay her chemo treatment to be able to go to the concert so she went in this morning and will be doing the treatment for the next five days. Unfortunately the cancer is not curable but we are hopeful the chemo will give us a lot of time with her. She is a single mom of three young boys so we need to pray for as much time as possible.

We’re hoping sharing her story we may get a miracle and it be seen by a doctor who is doing a clinical trial or maybe has another idea of a way to try to get rid of the cancer
