Former Eagles Star Wide Receiver DeSean Jackson is Back!
Okay so he might not be back with the Eagles, but he is back in the NFL! After a few bouts with injuries, and a trade last season from the LA Rams (who ended up winning the SuperBowl) to the LA Radiers (who didn’t), DeSean doesn’t want to give up his dreams so he is back in the NFL this time signing with the Baltimore Ravens!
Right now, he’s on the Ravens practice squad, and the expectation is for the 35-year-old Jackson to get elevated on game day and boost the Ravens’ deep-passing game. Last season, Jackson showed he still has speed, averaging 22.7 yards per catch, which is the highest of his 14-year career.
As you know, DeSean is one of the most famous Eagles of all time. Chip Kelly shipped him out, but he eventually came back to play with Carson Wentz. Most people thought he retired, but he said he still has gas left in the tank.
Ravens are signing veteran WR DeSean Jackson, his agent @DrewJRosenhaus confirmed. At 35, Jackson is back for his 15th NFL season.
