This is amazing and hilarious.  They always say if you want to see how strong your relationship is, build something from Ikea together. Ha!

Here are the details:

If you’ve ever built IKEA furniture, you know the self-assembly furniture chain’s savings can often come with a serious test of patience. Add in a significant other, and you’ve got a serious relationship test.
So are the savings worth it for couples? My team at FinanceBuzz wants to find out. Ahead of Valentine’s Day, we’re looking to pay a couple to build an entire bedroom set together and document their experience to show shoppers the true cost of IKEA furniture.
Our chosen DIY Duo will be:

  • Paid $1,000 for their efforts

  • Sent a $1,000 IKEA gift card to cover the cost of their shopping trip.
