Villanova Star is Entering the WNBA Draft
The Villanova women’s basketball team was hot this year. The team went to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2003.
Now, senior star Maddy Siegrist has declared that she will enter the 2023 WNBA Draft.
Villanova’s season closed in a dramatic fashion, with an upset loss to Miami last weekend. Siegrist finished the season with 1,081 points, which marks the second-most single-season points in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history. She shouldn’t have a hard time finding a WNBA home.
