Zach Bryan released his self-titled new album on August 25, 2023, and according to his social media, he has “no grand explanation” for the 17 songs on the project. “I don’t have a bulls— rollout plan to stuff it in front of as many people as I can.”
The album which is self-produced featured many other artists, including The War And Treaty and The Lumineers.
Now, Bryan has announced his 2024 North American run of The Quittin Time Tour. Playing in mostly stadiums, the tour will start in Chicago in March and make its way around North America stopping in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The tour will conclude in December in his home state of Oklahoma on back-to-back nights.
Zach Bryan: 7 Reasons Why Philadelphia Loves Him
It’s safe to say that Zach Bryan has not only taken country music by storm but the whole music industry. There are definitely more but let’s start with 7 reasons why we love Zach Bryan.
Zach was born on April 2, 1996, which means he’s an Aries. Makes sense he has a fiery personality and tons of energy, those are two traits of an Aries. He was actually born in Okinawa, Japan, while his family was stationed overseas with the Navy, but grew up in Oologah, Oklahoma.
Zach was an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy, enlisting at the age of 17 and actually starting writing music while in the Navy. He eventually moved to Philly with his then girlfriend who is also from there.
He started uploading his music to YouTube in 2017, with his friends recording him performing using his iPhone. One of his songs, “Heading South”, eventually went viral and the rest is basically history.
What makes him different is that he has blown up not in the traditional way many other musicians have. He hasn’t had a #1 song, but he has had a massive sold-out tour and sold millions of albums. His song “Something in Orange” was his first country radio single.
Zach released his brand new self-titled album in August 2023 and it’s entirely self-produced. He tweeted: I wanted this entire record to be self-produced. Releasing Deep Satin (a song my friend Eddie produced) and a few more songs as the months are to come. I won’t keep anyone waiting I promise, I love you guys and I am so grateful I get to grow through this life with y’all
He has a few features on the new album, one being with Kacey Musgraves, along with War & Treaty, The Lumineers, and Sierra Ferrell. He also opens the album with a poem he wrote. It’s pretty incredible how he writes and produces his own music. There aren’t many young superstar artists who do that anymore. It’s a lost art really.
