Old Dominion Announced As Barefoot Country Music Festival Headliner
The 4th Barefoot Country Music Festival headliner was just announced!
The Barefoot Country Music Festival is back for the summer of 2024. The festival will once again take place on the beach in Wildwood, NJ once again with 40 of your favorite artists on two stages. The dates for this year’s festival are June 20th to June 23rd.
Two months ago, Luke Bryan announced that he would be headlining one of the nights for the Barefoot Country Music Festival. Luke Bryan just performed at 92.5 XTU’s Anniversary Show this past June absolutely crushed it! The guy really gets the crowd into it and plays hit after hit. You don’t sit down at a Luke Bryan show, you dance and sing the entire time. Then, Keith Urban announced he would be the 2nd headliner at this year’s Barefoot Country Music Festival. Keith and the beach go hand in hand! Kane Brown announced he would be the 3rd headliner last week.
The 4th Headliner for the Barefoot Country Music Festival Will Be Old Dominion!
If you have not been to a Barefoot Country Music Fest, you are definitely missing out! Imagine this… You are standing right on the sand in gorgeous weather, enjoying a beverage with great food and awesome country music. That is what the Barefoot Country Music Festival is all about
Over the past 3 years, the festival has seen many amazing headliners including Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jon Pardi, Dan + Shay, Darius Rucker, Hardy, Florida Georgia Line, Kid Rock, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, Zac Brown Band, and Cole Swindell.
Other artists include Riley Green, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Bret Michaels, Parker McCollum, Dustin Lynch, Walker Hayes, Chris Janson, Parmalee, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Michael Ray, and many more. Some heavy hitters right there! Each year, they book an artist who isn’t necessarily country but more of a rock-type artist. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, and Bret Michaels were the 3 random acts they chose. I wonder which not-so-country act will be booked for this year?

The stars were on hand at The Met Gala on Monday, May 1st. That includes some of our country stars (including Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman) and their significant others! Oh, and this cat was there too? Not sure about this one.

What Is The Met Gala?
According to Vogue, it is annual celebration of fashion with a different theme each and every year.
The Met Gala is a charity event that is considered a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, it has traditionally been timed to mark the opening of its annual fashion exhibition.
Here’s an example below of the VIBE that the celebs were going for. What do you think of this style?

The stars were on hand for this annual event which, as mentioned earlier, has a new theme each and every year. Last year it was “In America: An Anthology To Fashion” and the year before was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” Both of these, quite frankly, don’t mean much to me but they LOOK beautiful.

What Was This Year’s Theme?
Vogue was the official host of the event so they have a little more detail when it comes to how they would like everyone to dress. Check out more details.
This year’s Costume Institute exhibition is dedicated to the legacy of fashion’s most hyperactive and prolific mastermind, Karl Lagerfeld—a polymath designer who put even the most adroit multitaskers to shame, and whose uniform (staunchly starched collars, Ancien Régime-esque ponytail) became the stuff of legend.
