Philadelphia’s First Bacon-Themed Restaurant Is Now Open
Yum! Philadelphia’s first bacon-themed restaurant is now open. What started as a food truck has now evolved into an amazing restaurant for bacon lovers. The restaurant was created by owner Justin Coleman and his business partner, Kelvin Anderson.
Food Trucks have become quite the popular destination. I have to admit, I like a restaurant a million times more than a food truck. It’s always so hard to balance your plate, fork, drink, etc. I know I sound ridiculous, but I love a sit down restaurant more. The restaurant that used to be at this spot was called Devil’s Den and it was there for years. They had an fried avocado eggs benedict that was delish. I was so upset when it closed, but then Bake N Bacon announced it’s opening and I was so excited. It’s a cool idea and I think it will bring people from the suburbs and even tourists. People love bacon and if there’s a chance to say you went to a bacon themed restaurant, people will do it, especially for the Instagram pictures. Plus it’s a cool place for families, friends, bromances, or a date. Bacon makes everything better.

Bake N’ Bacon is located at 11th and Ellsworth streets in South Philly, and some highlights on the menu are the bacon brisket burger, the smoked brisket and pound cake with a bacon caramel sauce.
