Rhys Hoskins Involved In ANOTHER Fight
Rhys Hoskins has the drama following him, that’s for sure.
He’s a new member of the Milwaukee Brewers after quite a few seasons with our Philadelphia Phillies, is yet again getting in the middle of some on-field incidents. Once could argue he is the aggressor in some of these, or the peacekeeper in others, you decide.
Remember When?
At the beginning of the season with his new team, Hoskins seemed to have gotten himself into a bit of trouble after making a slide into second base. He and New York Mets’ Jeff McNeil got into an argument after he was called out at second base. You can watch that play below.
It led to more drama after a Mets’ pitcher threw behind Hoskins. That is (in baseball) a sign of clear retaliation and disrespect but honestly, it’s part of the game. The justice and unwritten rules of the game are clear when it comes to defending teammates.
Rhys Hoskins Time In Philadelphia
Rhys Hoskins was drafted by the Phillies int he fourth round of the 2014 MLB Amateur Draft. He came up our minor league system and made his Major League debut with the club in 2017.
He really came to fame with the team during the 2022 World Series run where in the playoffs, the famous bat spike was born. This was against the division rival Atlanta Braves with Spencer Strider on the mound.
Newest Rhys Hoskins Fight
Now thankfully, he really wasn’t the REASON for this fight but he got himself in the middle of it pretty quickly. He’s a great teammate for defending his fellow ball players.
We aren’t surprised that he’s the first guy in there, he was taught in Philly how to be a Major League player and that’s what any of our players would do too!
