The WAWA Welcome America 2024 Performers

The Wawa Welcome America 2024 performers and event schedule have been announced, and wow. As one of the headliners would say… “It’s going down. I’m yellin’ timber! You better move. You better dance.”

That’s right. KESHA and Ne-Yo are this year’s headliners, and I am in. I’ve wanted to see KESHA live for a while now, and her music is perfect for the ultimate Party on the Parkway. Let’s just go ahead and call it the WAWA Welcome Ameri-KESHA July 4th Concert and Festival. Maybe not, but still. And Ne-Yo too! Sounds like we’ll be having the Time of Our Lives….

The WAWA Welcome America 2024 Performers

KESHA and Ne-Yo are headlining, plus (in no particular order) Mickey Morandini from the Phillies, Joseph Fonseca, The Wild Hymns, Joshua Mitchell, Huey Dunbar, Keisha Lance Bottoms, LeAnne Rimes, and Soledad O’Brien. The WAWA Welcome America July 4th Concert and Fireworks are always one of the highlights of the summer in Philadelphia, and with this lineup, it’s guaranteed to get you dancing.

There are also FREE events and museum days held all over the city leading up to America’s birthday. Something to do every day beginning Juneteenth and all the way up to the July 4th holiday. All FREE, including a day for complimentary entry to just about every museum in the city, a Rocky outdoor movie screening on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, WAWA Hoagie Day (of course!), an Avenue of the Arts Block Party, a Philadelphia Zoo 150th Anniversary Party, a Gospel Show, Salute to Independence Parade, and even a Kidchella Music Concert at Smith Memorial Playground.

People hold doors for each other and say thank you.

Reviews say the staff are friendly, attentive and work with a sense of urgency. It has 2 free air compressors, so if someone is putting air in their tires you don’t have to wait. This place is easy to see from the road and easy to get out of.
