Local University to Open Fossil Museum Showing Dinosaurs Found in South Jersey!
This is awesome! I guess I never realized New Jersey also had dinosaurs!
Here are the details from PhillyVoice:
Rowan University will take visitors back to the time when dinosaurs, rather than humans, occupied the lands and waters of South Jersey.
The Jean & Ric Edelman Fossil Park Museum will be coming to Edelman Fossil Park in Mantua Township, Gloucester County in 2023, the university said. Construction of the $73 million facility began last weekend.
The 44,000-square-foot museum will be situated above a former marl quarry in the 65-acre park, where researchers have discovered more than 50,000 marine and terrestrial fossils!
