Amy Towers of Haddonfield, New Jersey, has the ability to see things from a different angle. She has made a career out of communicating ideas in unique and visually impactful ways. Being relatively new moms when they first met, Susanne told Amy about a poem that she had written for her neurodiverse son who was struggling to make friends and “fit in” with kids his own age. The more they discussed the topic, the more they realized that this is a universal story that has the potential to speak to just about anyone. Towers transformed the poem into a book using vibrant colors, shapes, and illustrations.
