Ross is a 4.5yo 13lb Lhasa Apso. He’s dog and kid 10+ friendly. He is house and crate trained. He loves running so a secured fenced in yard is best for him. He loves balls and getting the squeakers out of squeaky toys. He likes playing with other dogs and people but will need warm up time for both. He is very friendly, playful and excitable, which if in an overly excitable state has been known to bite. He will need to have people to work on training with this. He is very intelligent, responds to some commands and travels well in the car.

This sweet boy is a 7-year-old pit-bull terrier mix. He was abandoned in our care in rough conditions. It took a while to get him all fixed up, but he is now ready to find his happily ever after.Hendrix is such a good boy. He walks well on the leash but is strong and active, he is friendly, happy, and affectionate. He LOVES toys and will absolutely go bananas for squeaky toys. He will happily chew on them and play with them forever. He also has a bit of a sweet tooth and will sit very nicely for us when shown a treat. Hendrix has lived previously with other dogs. Our longest resident – Skylar Rose – is a 5 year old pitbull who was surrendered to us almost 3 years ago. She is an anxious girly and will do best in a home with no other pets. This smiling girl is a 6 year old husky. She who was rescued from a puppy mill as she was no longer useful for breeding. Chloe is an over the top sweet and happy girl. She loves everyone she meets and gets very excited to see them as if she has known them forever. She listens well to us and has been a very good girl at the rescue. Chloe has was adopted but returned shortly after because the home was unable to care for her properly. Chloe, like so many of her breed, is a real escape artist so a fully fenced in yard would be best for her. She is also looking for an active, husky experienced home that will exercise her regularly – hiking, running are all great options for her. A bored husky is a husky that will be up to much mischief, so she needs an appropriate outlet for her energy.She is a chunky monkey that is slowly starting to lose weight but definitely needs a home that will commit to keeping her on the healthy path. Tyrion is on the market and in search for his purrrfect forever person or family! Tyrion is a domestic short hair estimated to be somewhere between 1-3 years old. We don’t know his history – he showed up one day to a woman’s house pressing his face against the window begging to come in & she reached out to a trapper that was able to get him right in the trap but unfortunately space was very tight and after being vetted he was at risk for release (they had no luck in tracking down any type of owner) – which no one wanted to do because of how friendly he was and how badly he wanted to be inside- so we tagged him for us and he’s been crashing in foster care! It’s unfortunately very likely he was dumped as it’s becoming more and more common lately 😞What we did learn about him is he’s the perfect combination of EVERY mood. He’s super sweet with just a tad of spice, he has the absolute best resting grumpy face in history, he enjoys playing but not as much as he enjoys naps, and he is a total lap cat who loves being close once he warms up to his people.The one thing he is NOT a fan of is other cats so he must go to a home where he will be the only cat. But honestly he’s the only cat you’ll ever need! He has not been around dogs or children so we are unsure how he would react. He’s just looking for a person or family to love him, snuggle him, and feed him lots of his favorite snacks. Shannon is a super sweet 15 year old girl that was surrendered to ACCT back in 2021 after being with her family her whole life because they said she had been going outside of the litter box. She sat at the shelter for two months and we couldn’t stand the thought of her spending her golden years in the overcrowded shelter so we tagged and brought her to us! Since being in foster care she’s shown us she has no problem using the litter box as long as she has a box of her own. She really enjoys affection, cuddling, being pet, & being brushed. She’s had senior blood work done and it came back unremarkable for her age. At this time she has no known health issues and would just need someone who can take her for annual senior check ups. Aerys is a very special beautiful guy looking for a very special home! Aerys came to us a few months back at about 6 months old and he was very undersocialized. He had actually been inside already for about 2 months prior to that. He’s been crashing with Nicole and has really been working on his people skills & she thinks he’s ready to find a permanent home to crash! The first week he would cower in his crate in his litter box and now he’s cozy as can be with his foster kitty roommates! He takes a long time to warm up to new people & a new environment so he needs someone who’s willing to be extra patient with him while he settles in on his own time.Aerys loves to play, especially with interactive toys that he can engage with his person! The wand & ball spinner are his favorites but he also loves chasing the balls with the bells inside!Snacks. All the snacks. Especially temptations & churus. When he’s eating his churus he’ll let you pet him all over! He’s also a big fan of pretty much any wet food & enjoys grazing on some kibble too! When it comes to physical affection, he just needs a really long time to warm up. It took a while but he now lets his foster parents pet him all over! His confidence really came out when he was able to start interacting with the other fosters he rooms with. She’d be best in a home as an only animal and if kids older would be best since she seems extremely hard of hearing and only reacts when human is very loud and excited like from watching sports on TV and cheering. Too much all at once can be a bit much for her, so too much activity around her with young kids wouldn’t be good for her. Molly is housebroken when kept on a schedule and will bark when needing to go out. Will use a pee pad if left too long. She is good in a secured fenced in yard &/or going for walks; She loves to sniff and explore. She likes to be where her people are and loves belly rubs. She needs time to warm up to new people but once she gets comfortable she is super sweet.

Adopt Breezy!
Breezy is a 3 year old tabby girl who’s family surrendered her to ACCT last summer. They claimed it was because she was “aggressive” and they had a baby on the way. While the owner did not go into detail about her “aggression” she did say there weren’t actually any bites or scratches while in the home. Breezy was understandably confused & stressed out at the shelter which caused her to act out & be put on the timestamp list for euthanasia – so we tagged her because we felt she deserved a chance!
Her foster said she’s a sweet girl who solicits pets and will even come when called but also has a sassy side. She has a bit of a dominant personality and because of this we think she would do best as the only cat in an adult only household. We aren’t sure how she is with dogs. She’s a big fan of laser toys, kitty condos, & her cozy cat bed! She’s looking for a patient person or family that’s willing to let her settle in on her own time!
