Key Sixers Player Out For Game One Monday Night

This is NOT good news for the Philadelphia 76ers, in fact, this could put an end to this playoff run for our basketball team. A key Sixers player out, OUCH!

This is so sad, you guessed it. Joel Embiid will not be playing in Game One against the Boston Celtics. More details below.

Key Sixers Player Out For Game One

Unfortunately, it’s true. The game is tonight (Monday, May 1st) at 7:30pm EST in Boston. That is game one of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and a very important game at that.

The 76ers swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the playoffs and haven’t played since Saturday, April 22nd. Fans were hoping it that break would be enough time to get Embiid back to healthy! But it doesn’t seem to be the case.

ESPN has reported that there is “optimism” surrounding a return for him in game two on Wednesday. This will give him two extra days rest.
