Before you see the video, I think it’s good to be prepared if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. Here is a possible conversation between a big TV celebrity and the person next to him on an airplane:
Celebrity: Hi, I’m [celebrity’s name].
Person: Oh, wow, it’s so nice to meet you! I’m a big fan of your work.
Celebrity: Thanks, that’s so kind of you to say.
Person: I really enjoyed your show [celebrity’s show].
Celebrity: Oh, man, that was a great show. I miss it sometimes.

Person: Oh, cool! What’s it about?
Celebrity: It’s about [new show’s premise].
Person: That sounds interesting.

This conversation could go in any number of directions from there, but this is just a possible example. Of course, it’s always important to be respectful when talking to celebrities. Don’t be pushy or overbearing, and don’t ask them for too much of their time. If they seem interested in talking, then by all means, go for it! But if they seem busy or uninterested, don’t take it personally. Just enjoy the fact that you’re sitting next to someone you admire.
