The Andie Summers Show

The Phillies and the Padres are squaring off in the National League Championship Series. The Phillies ended up with a 87-75 record which was good enough for the 3rd wildcard spot while the Padres were 89-73 which gave them the 2nd wildcard spot.

Both the Phillies and the Padres beat their division rivals in the National League Division Series and now will play each other.

That being said… Aaron Nola of the Phillies will take on his brother Austin Nola of the Padres.  Can you imagine being their parents?  One of your sons is going to be really happy while the other will be devastated.  Let’s hope the catcher(Austin Nola)is the one who is devasated.

Let’s take a look at some of the best sibling rivalries in Philly sports history.

  • Aaron Nola and Austin Nola

We will get to see at least a few at-bats with these 2.  Let’s go Aaron!!

  • Chris Long and Kyle Long

Chris Long played defensive line for the Eagles… His brother Kyle played offensive line for the Bears.  They matched up against each other in the Wildcard Round in 2018 with the Eagles winning with what we all remember as the “Double Doink Game.”

  • Jason Kelce & Travis Kelce

These are my 2 favorite brothers in sports. Jason Kelce is the best in the game at his position and Travis is the best at his position.  They are totally different but you can really feel the brotherly love when they talk about each other.

  • Keith Primeau and Wayne Primeau

This one is a little weird.  Keith Primeau is best known for being a clutch goal scorer for the Flyers…  Before he joined the Flyers, he was a Hartford Whaler and his brother Wayne was a Buffalo Sabre and then got a into a tussle. Check out their fight below…

  • Seth Curry and Stephen Curry

We all know Steph Curry is one of the greatest players of all time and he is definitely the best shooter of all time.  His brother Seth is no slouch either.  He can definitely hit a shot or 2.  Check out this awesome game between the both of them when Seth was a Sixer.
