The 9 Best Paul Rudd Roles.  We are celebrating Paul Rudd and his movie roles because today is his 54th birthday!

Who doesn’t love Paul Rudd… He is a Jersey Boy as well!  Passaic, NJ represent!! He is a big time Kansas City fan but we will let that slide for now.

Paul Rudd is one of the most likable actors in the history of cinema.  He is extremely funny with his dry humor, he is very good-looking, and he just seems like an overrall great guy!

• Scott Lang/Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

  Paul Rudd was already a pretty big deal before he took on this role.  When he took on the role of Ant-Man, it put him into a different stratosphere.  He is really good as Ant-Man.

• Mike Hannigan in Friends

  Paul Rudd fit perfectly with the cast of Friends.  He plays Mike Hannigan and he ends up marrying Phoebe.  They are such a fun couple and they are hilarious together. Regina Phalange and Crap Bag will always go down in history as the best names ever!

• Josh in Clueless

  This is where a lot of people remember seeing him first.  He played Alicia Silverstone’s love interest, well not at first, but then end up together.  It’s kind of weird because they refer to each other as half-brother and sister but whatever it’s a movie.

• Brian Fantana in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

  One word. HILARIOUS! He perfectly plays the lead field reporter and ladies man.  He also wears the greatest cologone ever… Sex Panther. Made with real bits of panther.

• Pete in Knocked Up

  Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen together are comedy gold.  He plays Pete who is married to the sister of the girl who gets Knocked Up by Seth Rogen’s character. Brilliant!

• Peter Klaven in I Love You, Man

  This movie is laugh out funny.  So many cameos… Jason Segal and Paul Rudd are a great pairing.  Very enjoyable movie even though Paul’s character is super cringy.

• Chuck/Kunu in Forgetting Sarah Marshall

  He’s not in the movie much but when he appears, he steals the scene.  He plays a super stoner that gives surf lessons in Hawaii.  Another Jason Segal and Paul Rudd pairing in this one.

• Danny in Role Models

  Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott = laugh out loud comedy.  They get into some legal trouble so they have to become big brothers as community service.  The story is very odd but super entertaining.

• David in The 40-Year Old Virgin

  This movie is chock full of funny people. Steve Carell, Seth Rogen, Jane Lynch, Elizabeth Banks, Leslie Mann, Mindy Kaling. One of the best comedies I’ve ever seen.  Paul Rudd and Mindy Kaling are super funny as an ex couple in their scenes together.
